Pouilly Fumé ‘Villa Paulus’ 2017

3 Nouvelles récompenses attribuées à nos vins par Wine Enthusiast

En janvier 2016, ce sont trois de nos vins qui ont été récompensés par le magazine américain Wine Enthusiast : le Pouilly Fumé « Les Angelots » 2014, le Sancerre « Thauvenay » 2014 et le Pouilly Fumé 2014.

Tous les trois ont été dégustés par Roger Voss, le rédacteur européen du magazine, qui affiche cette année une préférence pour le Pouilly Fumé « Les Angelots » 2014, mis en avant par la mention «Editors’ Choice ». Voici les notes de dégustation attribuées à ces vins :

  • Pouilly Fumé AOC « Les Angelots » 2014 – 92 points      

« Les calcaires durs ont donné à ce vin sa minéralité caractéristique et une belle acidité. Riche et juteux, il présente d’intenses notes de fruits jaunes et verts qui se mêlent au goût acidulé du citron vert. En bouche, ce vin propose une profondeur dominée par le fruit. A boire à partir de 2017. »

  • Sancerre Blanc « Thauvenay » 2014 – 90 points

« Le domaine Masson-Blondelet, plus connu pour ses Pouilly Fumé, possède aussi des vignes en Sancerre dans le village de Thauvenay. Ce vin brillant, cultivé sur un sol de silex, est souple, fruité et mûr avec des saveurs de prune verte et d’agrume relevées par une belle minéralité. A boire à partir de 2017. »

  • Pouilly Fumé AOC  2014 – 88 points

« Ce vin est souple, rond et mûr. Une belle acidité s’intègre à la structure légère ainsi qu’aux saveurs de pomme et de prune verte juteuse. Celui-ci est à maturité et prêt à boire. »
