Jean-Michel MASSON, (born in 1949) became a vine-grower after a master’s degree in law. He learned how to make wine on his own and with Michelle’s father. For 30 years now he keeps learning wine & oenology thanks to regular exchanges with other vine-growers & oenologists and when he was a member of the INAO National Committee (where he was one of the 31 French vine-grower representatives). He is also Chairman of Pouilly-Fumé Producers Association. 

Michelle MASSON, (born BLONDELET in 1951) has always worked in the vineyard. First at her parent’s Camille & Fernand BLONDELET property, then in 1972, she settled alone being the first female-wine-maker of the appellation. Finally, she settled with her husband Jean-Michel MASSON, when they got married in 1975. She is as comfortable in the vineyard, as in the cellar, the office, or at the wine-shop, where you meet her when you come and visit us.

Mélanie MASSON, (born in 1976) passed a degree in Political Science in Strasbourg University and another one in Lyon Business school. She also spent one year in England, where she studied English and law. Back to the estate once she finished her studies she learned viticulture in her family, as her mother did. She will be your contact on the phone, email, wines fair or at the shop, where she can organise a tasting in English or German, except during the harvest where she helps her brother at the cellar.

Pierre-François MASSON, (born in 1980) passed his viticultural degree in Mâcon-Davayé with distinction. Then he was undergoing trainings in Languedoc, in Reuilly, in Germany and in Blenheim, in New Zealand. Today he is at the head of the vines and cellar workers team.
